Raymond is the President/Manager of First Arkansas Insurance of Hot Springs, with offices in Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village. Raymond has over 37 years of experience in the insurance field, having begun his career in 1973 working in the casualty department of a national carrier, and advancing to supervising underwriter. In 1977, he left the company ranks to join Atkins Insurance Agency (later to become Marsh & McLennan Insurance) and advanced to Vice President/Manager of the Hot Springs operation. In 1988, Raymond and Jay Bradford, the founder of First Arkansas Insurance group of companies, opened the group’s Hot Springs Operation. Desiring to serve the residents of Hot Springs Village, he acquired Village Insurance in 1991. Raymond has been a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) since 1990. He serves on the Hot Springs Family YMCA Board, is a former President of the Garland County United Way, and has served on the Board of Hot Springs National Park Rotary. He is active in a number of other local organizations.
